Tapered self-aligning idler roller sets are used in belt conveyors to correct return belt deviation. The length is adapted to different bandwidths, and the taper angle is usually 10° - 15°. It adopts an inverted tapered structure, which generates a reverse centering force through the speed difference between the return belt and the idler roller. The material is mostly carbon steel and is treated with anti-corrosion, which effectively maintains the running track of the conveyor belt, reduces wear, and improves the stability of the conveying system.
