Tapered self-aligning idlers are used in belt conveyors to correct belt deviation. The cone angle is generally 10-15°. When the conveyor belt deviates, the lateral force generated by the difference in the roller's rotational speed is used to reset the belt. The material is mostly carbon steel with a rust-proof surface treatment, which can effectively maintain the centered operation of the conveyor belt and improve conveying stability.
